Who We Are

Compassion in Action

A registered non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing injured animals and uplifting underprivileged families across Lahore — with a vision to reach all of Pakistan.

Hope by Uswa Foundation was officially registered in 2026, but the seeds were planted much earlier. In 2024, Uswa Ahmad — our founder and President — started rescuing stray animals from the streets of Lahore entirely on her own. With limited resources but an unlimited heart, she treated injured cats and dogs, arranged shelter, and rallied her friends to help.

What began as a one‑woman mission has blossomed into a dedicated team of volunteers — proving that a small group of compassionate people can change the world.

The turning point came in 2025 when Uswa, alongside co-founders Mohsen Aslam and Moawiz Ahmad, opened our first animal shelter — a safe haven where rescued animals could recover and heal.

Today, we combine emergency animal rescue with direct community aid: monthly ration packages, winter clothing drives, and financial support for families in crisis. We are currently based in Lahore, but our ultimate goal is to expand this model across all of Pakistan.

Our Journey
