What to Do

  • Stay calm and approach the animal slowly.
  • Call our helpline immediately.
  • Note the exact location and nearby landmarks.
  • If safe, take clear photos or videos.
  • Keep a safe distance and do not crowd the animal.
  • If the animal is cold, you may cover it gently with a cloth (only if safe).

What NOT to Do

  • Do not force feed or give water without vet advice.
  • Do not attempt to treat injuries yourself.
  • Do not chase or corner the animal.
  • Do not separate a mother from her babies.
  • Do not put yourself in danger (e.g., busy roads).
  • Do not assume the animal is aggressive – fear can look like aggression.
